Oslo-baserte DJ SOULSHOCK er en av Skandinavias mest anerkjente og ettertraktede DJer, og har i over 10 år levert kvalitetsmusikk til folket, på regelmessige spillejobber overalt i verden. Han har opptrådt på arenaer og festivaler, i konserthaller, klubber og på private eventer over hele Norge, i Storbritannia, Belgia, Mexico, Portugal, Sverige, Danmark, Finland, Latvia og på Ibiza.
Han har spilt sammen med, varmet opp for eller DJet på den offisielle etterfesten til flere artister: Busta Rhymes, Bonde Do Role, Common, Clipse, Digable Planets, Dwele, Dj Premier, Fabolous, Fat Joe, Ghostface Killah, Jay Z, J. Cole, Just Blaze, Quest Love, Kid Ink, Kid Cudi, Masta Ace, Method Man, Madcon, Maxi Jazz (Faithless), Nas, Naughty by Nature, Notch, Redman, Snoop Dogg, Talib Kweli, Trevor Nelson, Timbuktu, Tinie Tempah og mange andre. Han DJet også på Jay Zs eksklusive private fest i Oslo og var DJen til en av Norges mest suksessfulle rapgrupper, Karpe Diem, som har blitt tildelt flere Spellemanpriser.
DJ SOULSHOCK har assistert flere lokale og verdenskjente merker med både eventer og musikalsk ekspertise: Elle, Nike, Betsafe/Gumball 3000, Eckō Unltd, Skullcandy, Warner Music Group, EMI Records, Sony Music, Universal Music Group, Interscope Records, Def Jam Recordings, Oslo Trend, EB Models, Norwegian Snowboard Awards, Det Nye, Kingsize Magazine (Skandinavias største urbane musikkblad), Playboard magazine, TV2 og TV3, Hove-festivalen, Quart-festivalen, Canal Street-festivalen og Musikkens dag, for å nevne noen få.
Utenom å ha drevet flere prisvinnende klubbnetter i Norge og ha gitt ut hundrevis av mixtaper, remixer og edits, har han også jobbet med disse radiokanalene: NRJ Radio, The Voice, The Beat, Radio Oslo og NRK P3. På sistnevnte kanal hadde han et populært, selvtitulert radioshow I fem år, til han bestemte seg for å fokusere på sin artistkarriére, musikkproduksjon, låtskriving og plateselskapet Tjukka.
Som et av Skandinavias mest etterspurte DJ-talenter spiller SOULSHOCK en eklektisk blanding av sjangere som Hip-Hop, R&B, Dancehall, Moombahton, House, Future House, G-House, UK Garage, 90’s, 80’s, Funk, Soul og klassikere som han bruker som en fargepalett: han sørger for et bredt spekter av musikalske farger til å male den perfekte spillelisten hver eneste gang. Oslo-based DJ SOULSHOCK is one of Scandinavias most acclaimed and sought-after dj’s and has been delivering quality music to crowds worldwide for over 10 years. Performing in venues, clubs, private events, concert halls and festivals all over Norway, UK, Belgium, Ibiza, Mexico, Portugal, Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Latvia on a regular basis.
He performed together, warmed up and dj’ed at the official afterparties of several artists: Busta Rhymes, Bonde Do Role, Common, Clipse, Digable Planets, Dwele, Dj Premier, Fabolous, Fat Joe, Ghostface Killah, Jay Z, J. Cole, Just Blaze, Quest Love, Kid Ink, Kid Cudi, Masta Ace, Method Man, Madcon, Maxi Jazz (Faithless), Nas, Naughty by Nature, Notch, Redman, Snoop Dogg, Talib Kweli, Trevor Nelson, Timbuktu and Tinie Tempah amongst many others. He also dj’ed at Jay Z's exclusive private party in Oslo and was the dj for one of the most successful Norwegian rap groups: Karpe Diem, wich has been awarded several Norwegian Grammy Awards (Spellemanprisen).
DJ SOULSHOCK has assisted several local and world renowned brands and companies, with both events and musical expertise. ELLE, Nike, Betsafe/Gumball 3000, Eckō Unltd, Skullcandy, Warner Music Group, EMI Records, Sony Music, Universal Music Group, Instercope Records, Def Jam Recordings, Oslo Trend (fashion week), EB Models, Norwegian Snowboard Awards, Det Nye magazine, Kingsize magazine (Skandinavias biggest urban magazine), Playboard magazine, Norwegian TV channels TV2 and TV3, Hove festival and Quart festival to name a few.
Besides having driven several award winning club nights in Norway and releasing hundreds of mixtapes, remixes and edits, he has also worked with Norwegian radio channels: NRJ Radio, The Voice, The Beat, Radio Oslo and NRK P3 (Norways answer to BBC Radio) where his popular self-titled radio show ran for five years until he decided to focus on his artist career, music production, songwriting and record label Tjukka.
